This non-programmable digital thermostat from White-Rodgers includes two AA Energizer® alkaline batteries. The batteries power the unit’s first-stage heat and first-stage air.^^Heating and Cooling^The unit provides first-stage heat (no auxiliary heat) for gas, oil, electric, and heat pump systems.
